Four Years & Counting

A Message from the Helwys Society Forum

On February 28, 2010, the Helwys Society Forum posted its first article. Over four years, we’ve learned a lot—especially from you our readers. In the past year, we’ve responded to our growing readership by increasing the frequency of our posts, updating our website design, and adding a new feature called “reflections.” If you’ve not explored this yet, we invite you to do so here. It may be found in two places: (1) home page, archives tab (at the top), reflections; or (2) home page, reflections tab (under the featured posts).

However, for this anniversary post, rather than looking back, we want to look forward and invite you to look forward with us. Here are some of our ideas for the future, namely the next 2-3 years:

First, we’re excited about our next emphasis month this June. During this month, we will consider some important texts in Classical/Reformational Arminian history.

Also, in the coming year, we hope to provide more ministry resources for pastors, student pastors, and other Christian leaders.

Third, we hope to have an increased presence at local, state, and national meetings and events.

Finally, we hope to begin publishing pamphlets, e-books, and/or print books.

What would you like to see? How can the Helwys Society Forum facilitate your ministry and service to the Lord? Is there an idea posted here that you particularly like or would add to? We invite your feedback.

Through these last four years, you all have been encouraging and helpful more than you’ll know through your comments and the personal conversations that Forum content has prompted. We look forward to continuing these conversations and fostering Christian faithfulness for the foreseeable future.

Thanks.
